Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
Strong mintmark, although the earlier slab was not from an era when that was denoted. Deep citrus-orange curiously endows the surface, yet glittering sheen still manages to show through the color. A small dark dot lands on the chin while notable on the reverse is a sliding abraded area within the upper field.

The error issues include several examples of “gutter folds”, “ink smears”, “printing errors”, “offset prints”, “folded printing errors”, and many more! If you are a collector of Treasury error notes than this lot is a must view as it includes well over 30 such examples that appear to have been purchased in the mid 1990-s and put away (ck).
