Cris Lindy-Ping Collection. The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. This only becomes ever more difficult when attempting to fill it out with collector grade issues. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. Cataloger's grade: [AU/reverse tooled]. The net value might be something like VF-35 to XF-40 as the obverse appears natural and attractive to the eye while retaining about a third of the as-struck mint luster. Weirdly, the entire reverse field area has been tooled to shallow extent -- nearly invisible beneath steam-grey patina.

A pair of ram heads intersect at the top of this hinged bangle with a twisted cable design. The textured gold ram’s have rubies for eyes and small round diamond accents set in white gold at their necks. The bangle measures 32mm wide and tapers down to 8mm at the bottom. Dimensions 2.75” x 2.5”, 36.6 dwt.
