Cheddars de Voirs Collection. A pair of generally common double-eagles remain in their old ANACS slabs -- a rarity especially when presented as a single auction lot. First is 1914 , heavily abraded and showing surprisingly decent luster for such a low mint-state grade. Wonderfully original and showing ideal olive-brown color with only slight thinning of patina on the details allowing sienna-orange to be seen. Wheat stalks display complete, uninterrupted lines and individually separated kernels. A delightful if somewhat low grade key cent.
