Lot #270 - Two 1970 no "S" dime Proof Sets
Collector Lots-Proof Sets
Wry Legals Consignment. The 1970 No S Roosevelt dime was the second such example of this series to be accidentally struck without an “S” mint mark. There are believed to be fewer than 500 of these mistakes in existence making this 1970 “No S” proof sets rather scarce. All five examples within both of these sets are in Gem proof condition with the Kennedy half-dollars offering a slightly hazy toning theme. One of these Roosevelt dimes is a truly Gem example free from any distractions while the other is a Gem example but does have a few spots of toning on the obverse side (ck).

All three watches are open face pocket watches that are 21 Jewel, 16 size and lever set. All three watches set, wind and run. A. Illinois, Bun Special that is in great shape. B. Waltham, movement # 12525681. C. Ball Official Standard triple signed 999B Movement. 1B5869 is the number inside the movement. Unfortunately, the crystal is cracked but in one piece.
