  • Sandra Wilson Algiers Estate. Deep orange burst luster embraces the surfaces of all four Russian 5 rouble gold coins within this NGC certified group lot. Each of these issues were graded as MS-65 and reside in early generation “fatty” style holders. Included in this four-coin lot is a 1901, a 1902, a 1903, and a 1904. Lofty mintage figures make these coins only scarce in higher grades and these beaming beauties fit the bill (ck)!

  • Scott Laiter Collection. 41 graded MS-61, 37 higher at NGC. While more available as a date within the series, 1868 is at least not one of the truly common emissions. Without aid of a loupe, MS-61 almost seems too low given the lovely semi-flashy luster often seen for the date. Traces of lavender-gold show on both sides.
