  • Hammer: $2,300
  • Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
  • Both were struck with fiercely well-defined devices, although one shows a noticeable bolder mintmark than its companion. Abrasion-free examples of a common date within this two coin lot.

  • Hammer: $625
  • World Coins-China
  • L&M-110, KM#Y345. Generally common, the value of the famous Sun Yat-sen dollar remains quite approachable for type purposes even at the MS-64 grade. A blazing white example with memorable luster, the quality here is right on par with the grade as a few tick-tack bagmarks stray into the fields and a couple of lengthy curving abrasions show over the junk sales on the reverse.
