Half Dimes-Capped Bust
LM-2 shows nice repunching at "OF" on the reverse and in the present die-state, a chip entirely occupies the upper loop of the second "S" in STATES. Frequently chosen for type purposes due to availability, the added allure for some collectors of sheer white brilliance makes this a shoo-in at a reasonable price level as well. Gleaming aluminum-white shimmers from the surface joining a terrific strike, with the grade plainly determined by a handful of brief but rather sharp abrasions on the bust.

Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-5, 880 THOUS, no "50" on reverse. As boldly sharp as is a typical example with XF to AU details, most of the vertical lines of the shield are fully impressed end-to-end but the rock at the base has some merging of their borders. Random small chips and dings show on the edges and of course, intricacy of the machined reverse design only amplifies the presence of each tiny abrasion. Curious texture affects the surface, leading to the PCGS disclaimer.
