  • Lot #70 - Mexico - 1765-Mo MF 8 reales - NGC AU-55
  • World Coins-Mexico
  • KM#105, Mexico City mint, Charlies III. Close inspection finds uncommonly few surface marks for a type that circulated freely. Subtle midnight-blue and russet-grey sprinkle lavishly over the entire surface, allowing ready appreciation of firmly impressed details.

  • Lot #875 - 1922 No D Strong Reverse PCGS AU-55
  • Hammer: $4,600
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • FS-401, die pair 2. While unquestionably brown overall and showing modestly glossy texture, some lighting angles cause purple toning to erupt from the obverse, creating a near-dazzling appearance that seems about impossible for a circulated, brown cent. Three or so significant abrasions land on Lincoln's lower portrait but blend well into the vintage patina. Letters in TRUST are stronger than IN GOD WE -- diagnostic of the most coveted die-marriage for a "1922 plain" cent.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
