Swap Deterred Collection. Well matched, this trio of Federal Reserve Bank Notes that begin an outstanding type set. Included are: 1918 $1 Atlanta (better than average for very-fine given faint creases), 1918 $2 Cleveland Battleship (marvelously original and also free from noticeable creasing), and 1914 $5 Atlanta (modest creasing and a little more toned left of the center crease on both sides). Three note lot.

A fully brown color designation might seem more appropriate to many viewers as only about 15% or so of the vintage mint red remains, but one cannot know whether the coin mellowed while stored within the slab. At any rate from a technical preservation standpoint, this one rises above many, if not most Hawaii cents given freedom from the corrosion that frequently visits these rare and desirable pieces. Well struck throughout and a coin that would be a welcome addition to any astute collection.
