  • Lot #450 - 1915 NGC MS-64
  • Gold $5-Indian Head Half Eagle
  • Cheddars de Voirs Collection. Known as one of the better produced issues of the Indian half-eagle series, this example does not disappoint given terrific luster and meticulous details. Roll friction on the cheek appears to be the primary grade motivator, although a reedmark hangs in the field left of the Indian's neck.

  • KM#294, Dav-2100, Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, Georg II "mining taler", Zellerfeld mint. Struck to honor The Goodness Of The Lord Mine, as is depicted on the obverse with a mine entrance within a heavily forested landscape. While both sides exhibit marvelous detail characteristic of relatively obscure "mining talers", someone has curiously tooled the entirety of the fields, converting what should be semi-prooflike reflectivity into texture.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
