  • Lot #816 - Collection of 39 different Washington quarter in a Capital Plastics holder
  • Quarter Dollars-Washington
  • A dazzling display of cartwheeling luster aptly describes this nearly complete run of Washington quarters from 1932 through 1947. Only three issues are missing and those are the three keys which includes the 1932-D, the 1932-S, and the 1936-D. Nothing but uncirculated examples that range in grade from MS-61 through MS-65 are spotted within this Capital plastics display board short set. While the ‘keys” may be missing there are still several tougher examples present. This could make a tremendous jump start to anyone attempting to put together an entirely uncirculated Washington quarter collection (ck).

  • Dino-Mite Collection. Entertaining visual effects consist of bright violet-brown and sienna coloration on both sides. Somehow, the color manages to make this exceedingly sharp proof all the more bold in appearance, and given the state of the dies, the character is much more lustrous and cartwheeling than typical.
