  • Lot #386 - 1854 AU details/tooled, and an 1874 XF details/ex-jewelry, both PCGS
  • Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
  • Zee's Densities Collection. Impairments place a damper on this 3-dollar duo, but how often does one find an auction lot with two certified examples? Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Two coin lot.

  • L&M-110, KM#Y345. Generally common, the value of the famous Sun Yat-sen dollar remains quite approachable for type purposes even at the MS-64 grade. A blazing white example with memorable luster, the quality here is right on par with the grade as a few tick-tack bagmarks stray into the fields and a couple of lengthy curving abrasions show over the junk sales on the reverse.
