Zee's Densities Collection. A pair of eagles both make for choice type representation. Included are: 1899 (steamy patina over gorgeous golden hue and enjoying a fantastic strike), and 1932 (the usual very good strike complemented by confident luster, although a few tiny greenish verdigris dots must be noted). Scott Laiter Collection. 41 graded MS-61, 37 higher at NGC. While more available as a date within the series, 1868 is at least not one of the truly common emissions. Without aid of a loupe, MS-61 almost seems too low given the lovely semi-flashy luster often seen for the date. Traces of lavender-gold show on both sides.

The stone’s country of origin is Brazil and is bordered with a tapered baguette on each side weighing an estimate .20 cttw, VS clarity, I color. Ring size 5.25, 3.2 dwt.
