Produced circa 1850, W-14010, low R.7, Wyatt copy in silver. While a genuine New England sixpence is valued beyond the means of most collectors, the famous Wyatt copies are valuable in their own right (Some online sources incorrectly state that the Wyatt copies have little value.) Dies for the copies appear to have been based on printed illustrations of the coins, rather than the genuine coins themselves, and are struck off of heavily striated dies. Infamously, the striations seem to have been copied from hand-drawn pictures that used these same lines to dictate blank areas of the design!
