  • Lot #649 - 1879-O MS-64, 1897-S MS-64, and a 1904 MS-63, all PCGS
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • A generation's worth of Morgan dollars earn at least choice BU grades at PCGS. Included are: 1879-O (very good strike over exquisite, white fine-textured matte frost surfaces), 1897-S (astounding windmill energy on pure-white mint frost), and 1904 (another very good strike but the cheek disturbed by a number of tiny bagmarks). Three coin lot.

  • Lot #611 - 1878 8TF NGC MS-64
  • Hammer: $525
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Clem Stevens Collection. If the grading services ever decide that SPL is a sensible designation, it would perfectly apply to this cameo silver dollar as it shows significant reflectivity and definite, albeit not strong contrast. Several linear abrasions on the cheek will limit the grade, balanced out perhaps by an exquisite strike.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
