Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
Cheddars de Voirs Collection. A trio of quarter-eagles present nicely for the collector focused on this very difficult series. The first two examples are green label holders and include: 1873 "open 3" (dusky reddish-gold and extremely well struck but showing a couple of more noticeable abrasions) and 1873 "closed 3" (greyish overtone to the overall golden hue and also showing a very good strike). Accompanying is 1873-S (modest wear and interesting ruby-gold patina throughout). Three coin lot.

A gorgeous Art Deco North South ring with an approximate .45 ct. round center diamond, I1 clarity, J color with another estimated 1.00 cttw in round diamonds set with milgrain detailing and hints of open space. Ring size 6, 4.7 dwt.
