A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Small Cents-Flying Eagle
Clem Stevens Collection. Infused with outstanding penny-copper hue, one could not imagine a more ideal color for a flying eagle cent. The dies, polished not long before striking, could not bring out every possible detail but there are no overly weak areas. One moderate nick above the eagle is the only abrasion worth mentioning.
