Lot #638 - 1878-CC VAM 18 Doubled Leaves PCGS MS-62PL
Silver Dollar-Morgan
VAM-18 plainly shows strong doubling on the leaves, as called out on the PCGS insert, but the ear, date and stars are also lightly doubled as usual for this variety. About as nice as MS-62 PL can get, the fields display only a minimal number of abrasions, while both sides feature exceptional and possibly full striking details.

Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
Denver began minting operations in 1906 with double-eagles a part of their inaugural emissions. Perhaps in anticipation of starting out on the right foot, these are typically well produced by the mint, and like this choice example, most display splendid silken luster that shimmers with dazzling vibrancy. Precise details endow both sides and the reverse seems particularly well preserved, falling closer to MS-64 than the obverse.

This 18K pocket watch has a beautiful movement marked “E.KOEN, GENEVE, No 77628”. Unfortunately, the chiming mechanism doesn't seem to work. On the inside lid it is engraved “Fr. Stanley Goodwin, Christmas 1891, H.R. EKEGREN GENEVA” and the outside back lid has a fancy monogram of “C.H.S.” Winds, sets and runs. 72.9 dwt.
