Bolivia - Five certified coins
World Coins-Bolivia
A bounty of Bolivian beauties is noticed within this five-piece group lot of NGC and PCGS certified examples. There are three NGC examples that includes a (1574-76) 4 Reales Rincon-Philip II VF-30, a 1680P 8 Reales VF-35, and a 1770P 8 Reales VF-35. The two remaining pieces are PCGS certified and includes a 1635 8 Reales Calico-1460 and a 1773-P 4 Reales Calico-929. It is worth noting that the PCGS 4 Reales is certainly in need of a quick re-holdering due to an internal crack in the holder (ck).

Clem Stevens Collection. VAM-5A, and as usual, being able to narrow down the VAM assures authenticity, aside from the obvious fact that NGC has certified this crucial key date silver dollar. Despite not garnering a mint-state grade, it truly appears the texture within the fields is unbroken by friction or circulation marks, but not so on the cheek where faint rub lingers. In addition, a small number of circulation marks also pepper the cheek. While not the most valuable Morgan dollar, this is a well struck example of one of the most popular dates.

Recovered from the sunken Spanish galleon, the Santa Margarita this 8 Reale coin of Philip III is set into a 14K and sterling silver bezel. The bezel features a scene of a dolphin and a patch of seaweed. This does come with a certificate of authenticity from Mel Fishers’s Treasures, LLC. with a grade of four.
