101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Breezy L Collection. The most common Friedberg number for red seal fives, the "a" variety is much scarcer than the "b" notes. Large margins surround both sides and the paper looks just as new as it should at AU58, the grade limited by a tiny yellowish corner fold at top right.
