101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. The mirrors seen here are above average in depth even for DMPL, although they would not be considered UDM. Very well struck -- almost ideally so, in fact -- with blazing, colorless surfaces that show incredible white brilliance.
