Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
Bucky The Badger Consignment. 50 graded PR-66 RB, 20 higher at PCGS. An incredible strike, even for a matte proof, brought up full relief for "O" in ONE opposite Lincoln's shoulder, a classic problem area even for these wonderful specimens from the U.S. mint. Satiny texture prevails over the obverse while the reverse has taken on an appealing granular aspect from that die. Not-so-subtle verdant hues occupy a majority of the surface, surrounded by glimmering vintage copper-gold hue on the obverse, contrasted with saturated magenta undertones on the reverse.

Quarter Dollars-Draped Bust
Browning-1. Hands-down original and downright beautiful, this key draped bust quarter will appeal strongly to the collector who treasures natural, vintage color on an early silver coin. Both sides display consistent, even and smooth wear with no evidence of damage from handling. Some lighting angles will reveal pleasing denim-violet and salmon-grey splashes within the fields. Trivial, whisper-light hairlines sweep across either side but are unimportant in the big scheme of things.

Probably purchased in China during the 1960s, may we offer this absolutely stunning pendant fashioned from 18K yellow gold, diamonds and the most translucent green Jade. The three diamonds measure 2.5mm each for an approximate total weight of .18 cttw, SI clarity, I color. While most people know that the green color of a candy life saver is the best color of jade to own, the second most prized feature of a piece of jade is the translucency. This piece, although it looks like a moss green jade, if you get it near the light and under a loupe, it's more of an emerald green. And when I say this piece is translucent, I am NOT kidding. It is just so clear and so nicely carved that you know the artisan took great pride in creating the female deity you see here. While the piece is fashioned as a pendant, it also stands on its own and can be used as a small shrine. As to the deity this piece represents, I know not. It is what it is - just GORGEOUS! Dimensions 2” x 2.5”, 22 dwt.
