  • Lot #869 - 1909-S VDB Lincoln NGC MS-62 RB
  • Hammer: $1,750
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Growth Collection. Struck to a typical level of sharpness for the date. All by itself, the obverse should grade at least MS-64 RB, or possibly fully red given ecstatic luster on that side and a near-total lack of potential distractions. On the reverse, an unusually blueberry-grey splash towards the left is to prominent to ignore and assuredly counts heavily toward constraining the grade, although otherwise, this side would be predominantly red as well.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
