  • Lot #393 - 1834 Classic, Plain 4 PCGS AU-50
  • Gold $5-Classic Head Half Eagle
  • Benjamin J. Collection. McCloskey 3-B, perhaps the most common "plain 4" die-marriage. Clean surfaces radiate yellow-gold hue with minimal luster seen along the protected rim area. Ten points of wear have erased only a trivial amount of the excellent detailing originally provided by the dies.

  • Lot #237 - Album of Texas Bonds and Certificates
  • Hammer: $14,500
  • Collector Lots-Exonumia
  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Republic of Texas bonds and Obsolete Bank notes mostly fill this large album bulk lot with above average examples. Also included in this lot is a scarcely seen Texian Loan certificate that was once part of a very prominent collection. These are examples that you do not come across very often (ck).
