Quarter Dollars-Standing Liberty
A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Get off your soapbox. Many collectors today still seek out the older “soapbox” style ANACS holders and this four-coin lot is sure to satisfy. All four issues are silver dollars and includes three Morgan dollars which are an 1885 MS-64DMPL, an 1899 MS-61, and a1900-S VAM-8 AU-58. A lone Peace dollar is present and is a 1928 MS-62. Each of these offers very light toning giving further evidence to their truly original nature (ck).
