Either side shows average definition and collectively surprisingly few bagmarks for the choice level, although one small copper spot lands below the date. Included are: 1939 (tremendous strike, clean right field and jaw-dropping luster), 1939-D (not quite as well struck as the preceding and filled with delightful frost-white texture), and 1939-S (decently struck in spite of a noticeable bisecting die crack on the reverse).
