Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Only two MS-66 by NGC, none higher. A brilliant, blazing and somewhat semi-prooflike reverse sees a pleasing, thin ring of album toning. Meanwhile, considerable autumn-gold layers the entire obverse save the rims, where a brilliant thin ring of emerald-cobalt and sky blue encircle the peripheral legends. A very well struck 7/4TF silver dollar.
