Bass-Dannreuther-2, die-state C/C, readily confirmed by observing a series of vertical lines in the cap. Overly bright from cleaning, the luster also remains impaired, flickering feebly only outside a few stars.

64 graded AU-50, 81 higher at PCGS. Even wear takes away from what were probably slightly flashing surfaces when struck. The large date logotype is the more common of the two subvarieties for 1850, but either way, 1850 is a better early date within the series.
