Slightly pale yet seemingly fully original overall, the aluminum-grey surface gets a little bit of accenting from deeper greyish areas within the recesses. A strong rim encircles either side, and a few internal details emerge from the central areas, in particular with some evidence of vertical lines for the fasces.

Outer rings of chartreuse-indigo, cobalt-cinnamon and champagne gold align exactly with the classic color progression expected. The coin also boasts an outstanding strike despite cracked dies, particularly for the reverse.
