  • Lot #778 - Complete collection of Walking Liberty half dollars in a Dansco 7160 album
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • Marsha Sothic Consignment. Collector’s grade and complete describes this Dansco album collection of Walking Liberty half-dollars appropriately. Examples ranging widely in grade from About Good through Choice Uncirculated fill this set from star to finish. It is in the typical manner of the earlier examples being more modest in condition with the “short set” dates offering much higher grading averages. Included in this complete collection is a 1916 (AG), a 1916-D (AG), a 1916-S (AG), a 1917-S Obverse (GD), a 1918-D (VG), a 1919 (GD+), a 1919-D (GD+), a 1921 (AG), a 1921-D (AG), a 1921-S (AG), a 1938 (BU), a 1938-D (GD), and a 1945-S (CH BU) (ck).

  • Lot #682 - 1895-O PCGS AU-55
  • Hammer: $2,400
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • While softer central details are typical for 1895-O, this example may have been struck a touch better than average, allowing for five points of additional wear on the eagle's breast and the curls over Liberty's ear. Plentiful cartwheel energy and some attractive russet toning on the rims merely add to the appeal.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
