  • Lot #867 - 1793 Wreath, Vine, and Bars PCGS F details/environmental damage
  • Large Cents-Flowing Hair
  • Sheldon-6 (R.3), with a vine-and-bars edge per PCGS. Border legends are as bold as can be and stand well clear from a partially dentilated obverse rim. The reverse features a considerable majority of the dentils throughout. PCGS calls out "environmental damage", yet the surface is not nearly as bad as that might imply, showing dusky wallet-brown with scant, tiny planchet voids and slightly uneasy surface texture.

  • Lot #399 - 1927 PCGS MS-65
  • Hammer: $1,200
  • Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
  • A common date even at the gem level, a 1927 this nice serves perfectly for type representation. The surface, pale and pristine, manifests outstanding luster for a sunken-relief strike, and the only detraction appears to be an erratic hairline mostly hidden within the headdress.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
