Espresso Logic Collection. Gem Dandies! Absolutely nothing but obviously Gem Uncirculated Walking Liberty half-dollars fills this massive group lot of PCGS certified beauties. There are thirteen examples that includes a 1941-D MS-65 CAC, a 1942 MS-65, a 1942-D MS-65 CAC, a 1942-S MS-65, a 1943-D MS-65+ CAC, a 1943-S MS-65, a 1944 MS-65, a 1944-S MS-65, a 1945 MS-65, a 1945-S MS-65, a 1946-D MS-65 CAC, a 1946-S MS-65, and a 1947-D MS-65. What a wonderful opportunity to kick start a short set that is sure to make any collector blush (ck).

Half Dollars-Capped Bust, Lettered Edge
O-101, prime dies. There is no evidence of clashed dies for this famous key to the series. Scarcity for the date can be explained by the one-day delivery of the entire mintage -- 47-thousand -- on January 10,1816 which was the day immediately preceding a major fire at the Mint. The mint was not operational again for practically the rest of the year. One might not state that the surfaces for this sharp example are entirely original as some glossy tan texture shows, interspersed with purple and neon-violet peripheral accents, but the coin suffers no damage nor distracting issues. Individual feathers within the eagle's right (observed) wing are nicely outlined while a few feathers in the left wing merge just slightly.

A super-sized bee pin with an approximately 40 ct. oblong opal (significant crazing) with beautiful green, red and blue fire throughout with movable wings that are encrusted in diamonds weighing approximately 4.00 cttw, VS clarity, I color and cabochon rubies for eyes. There are attached rings so you could also wear this on a chain! Dimensions 2.1” x 1.5”, 16.0 dwt.
