Included are: 1879-S prooflike (some peripheral toning accompanies an excellent strike), 1879-S not PL (phenomenal striking details and almost flashier than the preceding), and 1882-CC (satin smooth with pleasing rim tone, but not quite as well struck as its companions). Three coin lot.

Intensely brilliant despite faint greyish carbon flecking. Trivial surface nicks at and just below the elbow appear to be the only mentionable abrasions as the reverse-- typically a problem area -- survives with scarcely any contact whatsoever. An outstanding and nicely struck California.
