  • VAM-7 is an easily attributed variety once the viewer notices a knob on the left base of "1" in the date. More important to most will be the DMPL designation -- not rare for 1884-CC but certainly appreciated by aficionados of early strikes. A few abrasions occupy the lower obverse right field, joined by very limited, minor abrasions on the reverse. Nicely struck, although not as perfectly detailed as are some 1884-CC dollars.

  • Circa 1960/1970 and unsigned, this sterling silver (tested) squash blossom necklace features turquoise cabs that look like they might be from the Royston mine. The necklace has a seven stone Naja pendant and 10 blossoms with a hook/eye closure. Possibly Navajo origin. Length 23”, 5.01 troy ounces.
