101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. 3 graded PR-66+ CAM, 5 higher at NGC. Razor sharp obverse definition mates up well with bold but not quite perfect reverse sharpness for this shimmering, ostentatious proof type coin that also happens to be the same date as one of the well-known keys. All by itself, the obverse likely grades at least PR-67-plus but on the reverse, one can find a brief area of planchet imperfection beneath TED, limiting the grade.

Exquisite Tahitian pearl drop earrings with two cultured black pearls measuring approximately 8mm and two measuring approximately 10mm with small bezel set diamond accents. The earrings are made by Mikimoto and include the hallmark of an M inside the outline of an oyster at the bottom of the last pearl. The top pearl can be positioned anywhere on the chain that dangles down from diamond post and is part of the Pearls in Motion collection. Length 1.75”, 5.0 dwt.
