101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Included in this run is an 1840 Drapery (VF), an 1841-O Drapery (Vg, bent), an 1842 (XF+), an 1851 (AU), an 1852 (XF), an 1853 Arrows (AU), an 1854 (XF), and 1854-O (XF), an 1861 (XF), an 1862 (XF), and an 1871-S (XF).
