  • Lot #690 - 1890-O PCGS, and an 1890-S NGC, both MS-64
  • Hammer: $500
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Erasmus Rally Collection. 1890-O is a fabulously candescent, Arctic-white example with extensive mint frost and shimmering luster, the grade directly influenced by a linear abrasion at the corner of the mouth. A sensational strike creates impressive technical appeal added to marvelous, blazing windmill energy for 1890-S. Two coin lot.

  • Lot #431 - 1882-CC NGC AU-58
  • Hammer: $6,750
  • Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
  • Although not truly rare, the 1882-CC sports that all-consuming mintmark that many collectors cannot resist, and the attractive sub-hundred thousand mintage helps ensure forever popularity of the date. This lustrous and fully golden-yellow example displays the typical, slightly soft strike usually seen, yet the details give up almost nothing to brief circulation. In fact, the only real evidence of commercial usage appears to be a number of fleeting hairlines in the fields.
