Obviously original almost to an extreme degree, dense iron-grey patina occupies virtually the entire surface, avoiding trace areas of shimmering, lustrous effect immediately against the devices. A delicate pinscratch in the obverse left field has blended in with that overarching patina. An extremely well detailed example.

Technical excellence includes absolutely ideal coppery hue with a broad blush of lavender on the reverse, as well as an outstanding four-diamond strike.
