Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Ex-NGC/CAC AU-58 per the consignor. A desirable borderline-uncirculated half-dollar type coin, silvery-tan coloration dominates most of the surface, encircled completely on both sides by pleasing denim-blue album toning. Sharply struck for the most part, minimal wear rubs down the finest details only to the slightest possible extent, and a few random tiny marks on the cheek speak to brief handling.

KM#377.2, Chihuahua mint. Struck in the usual medallic alignment, this intriguing example shows curiously bright surfaces and an extensive array of adjustment marks at the far right edge. So deep are the file lines that they caused the reverse design to be indistinct in the corresponding area. A much tougher early issue within the series.
