Mintage: 27,200. Cataloger's grade: [AU/cleaned] even though considerable patina has returned after spending decades in album storage. Noticeable luster percolates between the stars but is somehow a little distorted in broader areas of the field due to abrading. A precisely struck silver dollar that looks a lot nicer than the disclaimer might imply.

Almost ridiculous in terms of extreme, original preservation, a thick pile of medium grey patina could practically be flaked off the surface with a fork. Curiously shiny lavender hue traces over the rims, joined by subtle similar accents elsewhere on some highpoint details. A strangely compelling key Carson City dollar.
