  • Lot #794 - 1953-D Bugs Bunny FS-401 PCGS MS-65FBL
  • Hammer: $400
  • Half Dollars-Franklin
  • Annals At Phoenix Collection. 58 graded MS-64 FBL, 36 higher at PCGS. Curiously, FS-401 is more often than not found with full bell lines, and this example has some aspects of a mint-set survivor. The surface appears strictly original, the whole presentation glowing with attractive satiny luster.

  • Lot #291 - $5 C. Bechtler 134 Grains, 21 Carats, With Star PCGS AU-53
  • Hammer: $9,500
  • Territorial Gold-Territorial Gold
  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-20 (R.4). Modestly pale golden hue joins with subtle crimson hues to suggest a decent level of original quality. Glimpses of luster meander between and through peripheral letters, affirming the grade assignment. Gentle hairlines are inevitable for a rare coin of this vintage but there is nothing to suggest negative appeal for this great private issue.
