Silver Dollar-Draped Bust
Bolender-8, BB-165, R.3, one of the die-marriages for the series that had exclusive use of both the obverse and reverse dies. "N" in UNITED was originally punched in upside-down and subsequently corrected, this earlier die-state coin retaining remnants of an errant serif between "NI". Nicer patina visits this smooth and honestly worn example, for which there are no sudden or unexpected abrasions.

Boldly detailed, especially on the reverse, a trivial amount of luster still emerges from design crevices. Liberty's portrait and the reverse upper and right fields have a few thin, faded marks. Evenly colored in mustard-gold hue.
