Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Gold Dollars-Indian Princess Head, Large Head
Mintage: 13,000. 23 graded MS-61, 17 higher at NGC. Lurking in an area of low survival rates in mint-state, the 1860-S is not quite as scarce as preceding years and often comes semi-prooflike, although this specific select representation shows only minimal flash. Roll friction scatters into the fields and takes on slightly deeper orange hue while coppery tones persist in better protected areas.
