Cris Lindy-Ping Collection. The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. This only becomes ever more difficult when attempting to fill it out with collector grade issues. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. Clem Stevens Collection. VAM-5A, and as usual, being able to narrow down the VAM assures authenticity, aside from the obvious fact that NGC has certified this crucial key date silver dollar. Despite not garnering a mint-state grade, it truly appears the texture within the fields is unbroken by friction or circulation marks, but not so on the cheek where faint rub lingers. In addition, a small number of circulation marks also pepper the cheek. While not the most valuable Morgan dollar, this is a well struck example of one of the most popular dates.
