JULES REIVER COLLECTION is referenced for the 1873 "open 3", and the coin displays admirable color and decent luster albeit both sides are well abraded by old-time storage. Completing the thought is an 1873 "open 3" showing demonstrating unusually deep scarlet-orange hue and average luster due to a slightly ineffective strike. Two coin lot.

I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
