  • Lot #770 - 1811/9 and 1824/2, both PCGS VF-20
  • Hammer: $1,450
  • Dimes-Capped Bust
  • First is 1811/09 showing details that seem to reach the Fine grade level, although closer inspection finds a scrabble of light old pinscratches above the eagle's left (observed) wing. Accompanying is 1824/2, this example problem-free and infused with old time dark grey and pewter-tan toning. A pair of very popular overdates within this two coin lot.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
