Nickels-Buffalo
Benjamin J. Collection. Cataloger's grade: AU/reverse wiped. Light golden toning is classic for Denver nickels of the era, and it plays beautifully over these almost fully lustrous surfaces. Sharpness probably exceeds AU-55, but a good lamp brings about some very fine hairlines traveling diagonally over the bison's back. A terrific candidate for any high-end album collection.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
