  • Lot #531 - 1905-S PCGS MS-63
  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • Incredible crystal-gold luster overwhelms the senses and would qualify this coin for gem status if not for a handful of sharp nicks below and near Liberty's eye. A blatantly gorgeous coin that looks like it's been plugged into a 12 volt car battery.

  • Lot #253 - Twelve Uncirculated type coins, all NGC (no line)
  • Hammer: $825
  • Collector Lots-U.S. Type
  • Where do we draw the line? This is a very attractive group lot of twelve NGC "no line" holder coins that includes the following eight MS-67 war-time Jefferson nickels: a 1942-S, a 1943-P, a 1943-S, a1944-P, a 1944-D, a 1944-S, a 1945-P, and a 1945-D. The final four pieces of this numismatic puzzle includes an 1882 MS-63 Morgan dollar, 1n 1897 MS-64 Morgan dollar, an 1945-D Walking Liberty half-dollar, and a 1937-S Buffalo nickel. While each of these appear to be very conservatively graded, the toning of the 1882 Morgan stands out from the crowd (ck).
