Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Wispy and dusty tones cling to all of the surfaces of each issue within each set lending even further evidence to these particular set’s originality. Get off your soapbox. Many collectors today still seek out the older “soapbox” style ANACS holders and this four-coin lot is sure to satisfy. All four issues are silver dollars and includes three Morgan dollars which are an 1885 MS-64DMPL, an 1899 MS-61, and a1900-S VAM-8 AU-58. A lone Peace dollar is present and is a 1928 MS-62. Each of these offers very light toning giving further evidence to their truly original nature (ck).
