Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
Mintage: 12,000. 27 graded AU-53, 44 higher at PCGS. Somewhat lustrous despite seven points of circulation, this double-eagle clearly started out with brilliant qualities rather than the semi-prooflike character often seen. Richer orange hues layer over nicely struck devices, and only expectant circulation marks show throughout; there are no singularly mentionable abrasions.

A gossamer layer of almond toning prevents the coin from being truly flashy, and it offers instead some smooth satin-textured eye-appeal. Surprisingly clean on the cheek, a reedmark at the top of Liberty's neck appears to be the primary grade determinant.

Here we have a signed sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise cuff bracelet that features the initials of JVB – Jimmy Victor Begay of the Navajo nation. This is a genuine statement piece with a design that is big and bold and features large spider web turquoise cabs that appear to be from the Kingman mine. Excellent condition with a dark patina to the metal. 5.59 troy ounces.
